Amended Notice of Availability (NOA) Published in the Federal Register - Friday, November 09, 2012
The Amended Notice of Availability (NOA) of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for military training activities at the Naval Weapons Systems Training Facility Boardman, OR, has been published in the Federal Register (Friday, November 9, 2012). Public Comment Period for the Draft Environment Impact Statement Extended to December 6, 2012 - Monday, November 05, 2012
The Navy has extended the public comment period for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and invites public comments on the analysis presented in the Draft EIS document.  The comment period now totals 91 days, and will end on December 6, 2012.  Comments may be submitted via U.S. mail, or via the project website.

The Notice of  Availability (NOA) of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for military training activities at the Naval Weapons Systems Training Facility Boardman, OR, has been published in the Federal Register (Friday, September 7, 2012). The NWSTF Boardman Federal Register NOA is available for download here, or can be accessed on the Documents and References page of this website.


This publication also announces public meetings, to be held Tuesday, September 25 at the Hermiston Conference Center and Wednesday, September 26 at the Port of Morrow Conference Center.  For more information, please access the Public Meetings page of this website.

The Navy has released the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and invites public comments on the analysis presented in the Draft EIS document.  The comment period is 61 days, ending on November 6, 2012.  Comments may be submitted during the public meetings, via U.S. mail, or via the project website here

With the publication of the NOA in the Federal Register, the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is available for review.  The Draft EIS can be accessed on the Documents and References page of this website.
